The North Dakota State Fair Center is home to a variety of major events that take place annually at its facilities.  Many of these are home-grown productions that have developed into some of the largest and most reputable of their kind, both regionally and internationally.

The North Dakota State Fair and Norsk Hostfest, two of the state's largest events, have a long-standing tradition at the North Dakota State Fair Center and Grounds. Thousands of guests travel to Minot each year to experience the excitement of the “Magic City” and take in the assortment of activities the State Fair Center hosts.
